thirty-five

ONLY 35 DAYS TO FANEXPO!
highlight of my summer, it is getting so close!

i hate living in the real world, imaginary ones are just so much more exciting!

burt ward is going to be there. and some other really cool people
like stan lee william shatner adam west and so many more

three days means three costumes, how will i ever narrow it down! i'm thinking the doctor, a star fleet officer and a female flying robin?

i am excited can you tell?
but now back to the real world ...

star gazing

an interpretation of the constelation leo and camelopardalis.

On star filled summer nights gazing, up wards is all I find myself doing. Trying to comprehend the vast distance that is space can blow one`s mind. My mind has been blown, and imagining everything that could be, makes everything that is seem unbelievably dull.

Working though my summer reading list (mostly science fiction classics I know about but have never actually read) cannot help but to channel the ideas into some illustrations. It sadly, is as close as I will come to becoming a part of these aw-inspiring universes. But realizing these dreams on paper takes me there.

Inspired from Ray Bradbury’s Almost the End of the World, where I would find myself looking up for what is next.
